Happy, Happy, Happy

That's right...there are a lot of events that were celebrated this past week!  It started with a visit from Lori's camp friend and her family, continued with New Year's Eve events, and then led to Joshua turning 7 weeks old, Adam celebrating his 33rd Birthday, and Bubby Linda having a birthday the following day!


Sandi and her family visited all the way from Chicago!  They took little Ruby to Disney for the first time and then made an alternate trip down to visit us for the day!! It was so great seeing them, and we're so happy they were willing to take the side-trip down to visit.

Past Beber Friends and Future (?) Beber Friends!

The Sorensen's, Safta Mildred, Uncle Alex, and Uncle Keith all completed their visit and headed back to their respective homes (but we sorely miss them)!  We had too much fun going to the beach, parks, flying kites, watching movies, picking strawberries, and playing games! (Thanks, Lisa, for these amazing shots)!

Of course, when living in Florida, there are always plenty of visitors during December.  Cousin Renee finally got to meet Derek (she's never met him and has been itching to do so since he was born) and Josh!

Cherry helped Derek plant some new crops for the New Year (Onion and Garlic, to go along with our new Banana Trees and Aloe)!

What can we say?  2012 was great to us, but now it's time to ring in the new year!  Since a few of our friends had babies within weeks of Josh, we decided to have a B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Pack-n-play) New Year's Eve Party!  It was great!  Chinese food, fruit, sorbet, good friends and fun!

So, our New Year's Eve was a little more happenin' than we expected (considering we have a 2 year old and a not even 2 month old)!  It was great!!!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Walks always put Josh to sleep...must be all that fresh air!

Grandma has been incredibly generous and has watched the boys 3 nights in a row! (First so Adam and Lori could watch that lousy Gator game, Second so we could celebrate Adam's birthday/a friend's surprise party, and Third to celebrate Bubby's birthday)!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Joshua is officially 7 weeks old, but keeping up with Derek is tiring for him:

Finally, we celebrated Daddy and Bubby Linda's birthdays (January 4th and 5th respectively).

During the day, on the 4th, Derek had a play date with his friend Ilan (both Moms were friends in Akiva Jewish Leadership in high school and then continued on as Gators at UF, and now they even work together at NBPS)!

The next day was Bubby's birthday...and the time came to surprise her with Aunt Shana, Uncle Brian, Harley, and Bailey's visit!

Happy Birthday, Bubby!  It was fun hanging out, eating good food, and watching a fun movie!

Of course, all good things must come to an end.  Derek spent much of Sunday morning playing with Aunt Shana, Uncle Brian, Harley, and Bailey before they had to head home:
