A World Of Discovery

The Barbag Family was very busy over the past two weeks.  Of course, before you can "go out to play,"  you must always "clean up your room!"  Or, in this case....the pool:

Bubby and Zaide brought over Joey, a magnetic doll with interchangeable costumes.  Derek has been very busy playing with his new friend!

It may be January, but it's been beautiful weather.  So, Bubby and Derek are outside playing!

Derek did not have school one day, so we set up a play-date at the School House Museum in Boynton Beach.  We played with a few of Derek's friends from class and had a great time!

The first room discovered was "The Farm:"

Of course, our week would not be complete without some out-of-town guests (after all, it is the middle of winter).  Cousins Mark and Eli came to visit from New York!  It's good to have family visit -- especially when it means having FroYo for Lunch!

Afterwards, we had the Shemesh family over for a nice Shabbat dinner.  The twins, Ella and Gabi (this week's Shabbat Abba) and Derek played some beautiful Shabbat Tunes!

After the game, Derek took a nap.  This was the first time he actually got out of bed to leave his room when he woke up.  Ever since switching to his big boy bed, he has always called for us, from bed, to get him.  He hasn't done it since!

 Then it was off to Grandma and Papa's for dinner and to set up Derek's 1st Trampoline!

Watching everyone work on a trampoline is not very exciting.

But, it sure is fun to play in!

 

As you can see, it's been "hopping" around our house (pun intended).  Trying to keep up with this blog is not easy task, but we'll continue to do our best!
