Benji - Week 4

Great things happened during Benji's 4th week...the boys continue to get along well, we helped cousin Sandy celebrate her 80th birthday (we even got to see the Schreck's who were in from out of town), and Mommy went to Josh and Derek's parent-teacher conferences!

Benji is 4 weeks old today!  How did that happen already?

Josh continues to bond with "my baby."

Kisses on the capi.

Don't worry, he saves some loving for the big guy, too!

Josh enjoys his breakfast each morning.
Good til the last drop!

We had such a good time helping Sandy celebrate her birthday with cousins Renee, Jim, and Sarah, that we forgot to take pictures!!!  Lucky for us, Sarah took some pictures of the boys opening the presents they brought.

Thanks!!

Later in the week, we had a fun dinner at Grandma and Papa's (the Raphan's joined, too)!  Benji was a little fussy, but big brother Derek took care of that!

Derek helps Benji with his pacifier.

When that doesn't work -- he calms him with songs!

Mommy had parent-teacher conferences for the boys at their school.  Both of the older boys are doing very well at school.  Here are some posters from outside of Derek's classroom:

Derek's class has made some original BIG BOOKS!  They take an actual book and re-create it with answers and stories from the students in the class.  Derek is sent home with a "Big Book" and we get to read it and enjoy it and then return it for the next reader.

Here is our first "Big Book:"

Speaking of school...Josh must have made a good impression on Cousin Orli when we saw her this past August because she wrote about him in her class writing assignment!!!

Orli's dissertation.
With Love!!!

That's it for week 4 -- stay tuned for Benji's 1 month posting!

Sleep well.
