Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya to Bermuda, Bahamas....
Okay, maybe we didn't go to all of these places, but we did take a family cruise to the Bahamas! Well, let's explain that a bit further --- months ago Bubby and Zaide decided we should all celebrate their 60th birthdays together on a cruise! This sounded like fun -- cruising with Bub and Zaid, Bauby Marcia, Zaide Shelly, Uncle Ari, Auntie Rachel, Laila, and Adaya, Uncle Brian, Auntie Shana, and Uncle David, too! But, did you know that if one is in one's 24th week of pregnancy, one may not board the cruise ship?! That being said, Mommy (currently 25 weeks pregnant) and Joshie (her companion for the weekend) stayed home. But, all had a great time (those cruising and those at home).
Here's some of Josh's class before greeting our incoming family:

The kids actually are completely separated from the parents now, and all are doing well!
Before leaving for the cruise, the Barbag Family was asked to be a part of B'nai Torah's "Bless the Children." What a perfect opportunity, with 4 generations! Here's what we came up with:

First, the boring "stay at home" two. Mommy cleaned the house like there was no tomorrow and even helped Josh move out of the crib and sleep in a big boy bed!

Then he headed home with Mommy to do some heavy lifting and deconstruction of the crib!

Josh slept in his big boy for the first time the night of June 27, 2014 and he never looked back!

Meanwhile, back on the mainland.....
Mommy and Joshie got to make another trip to Dr. Cohen's (on the same day everyone arrived back from the Bahamas). Poor guy had a rash all over his body (turns out it was not an allergic reaction, but a photosynthetic response to the sun)! Derek ended up having the same thing, too!
Before the doctor's office, Josh had his swim lesson, and some great shots by his teacher, Liz:

All in all, the cousins really got along well together.
It was great having the family together -- it doesn't happen often enough!

It was lovely spending time with the Shermans and the Telmans (in from Israel)! All of our family headed home -- and we joined Uncle David and both Bubs and Zaids for a farewell meal at Rustic Inn!
