Derek's Toddler Twos class has officially come to an end. In the class' poem, Derek was summarized as, "The Mayor of the B'nai compound, he's always saying hi to everyone around!"
Showing off the class "library."
One last shot with Miss Mandy!
Miss Ariana, Miss Mandy, Miss Michele, Derek, and Miss Lani -- the sweetest teachers a 2 year old could ask for!
We spent the next Shabbat with Grandma and Papa:
Grandma, washing Derek's hands...and a little on his shirt, too.
Derek-pasta-hands.
Grandma and Joshua.
Lighting the candles...
...sharing some challah.
Josh is happy to wait on his sweet potatoes!
Derek is not the only one who "graduated" this week. Joshua, after eating sweet potatoes before bedtime, slept through the night!!! FINALLY!!!! So, he may turn orange with all of the sweet potatoes Mommy and Daddy want to feed him now, but it'll be worth it, right?!?
Long night's rest = fun, happy boys in the morning!
Mommy loves Derek's curls, but everyone else says it's time for another haircut!
Okay, it is a bit out of control!
Josh doesn't seem phased by it, though.
Off it goes!
Much better! Now Derek is ready for summer!
Derek likes his updated hairdo, too!
Checkin' his new look out.
These boys just keep on growing!
Oh, and Derek's funny conversations of this past week:
Mommy getting ready to leave tells Derek to put on his listening ears and be good for Cherry. His firs response was, "What? What did you say?" So, Mommy repeated, and this time Derek put down Daddy's cell phone (which he was playing with at the time), reached up to his ears, made a clicking sound (as if to turn on his listening ears), and said, "okay, Mommy!"
The day before, when Cherry asked Derek to put on his listening ears, Derek said, "I can't. They're at Grandma and Papa's house!"
On another occassion, Cherry asked Derek to put on this listening ears, and Derek said, "I can't. They're charging!"
