We headed up to DC during Labor Day weekend to join Cousin Abby for her Bat-Mitzvah! We also got to celebrate Grandma Safta's 96th Birthday!!

Getting to the car rental is SO exciting!

After a crazy amount of time at the car rental place, we finally were on our way! (This was SO tiring for the boys -- we had a very early flight), that Josh fell asleep mid-bite!
First stop, Safta's! We went to see her new home and take her out for brunch!

We then headed to Abby's Bat-Mitzvah pre-celebration dinner at Aunt Sandy and Uncle Sam's!

The Bat-Mitzvah was wonderful and the boys danced the night away. Then they headed upstairs to crash.
Abby took time away from her party to head upstairs to put these guys to sleep!
The next morning, we joined the other Barbags for breakfast!

Then, it was back to A & E's for dinner and bedtime!

While we were away in DC, Benji enjoyed being an "only child" with Bubby Linda and Zaide Mike!
He even went on a few walks!

Benji was happy to see us, but he really loved the presents we brought back from the Bat-Mitzvah (mostly because it kept his hair out of his eyes)!
Of course, only a few nights later, and Josh already has a message we all feel to be true!
