Woke up one morning and Benji's whole face was swollen (especially above one eyelid and below the other). Turns out, he was bitten in the night! We, of course, suspected this, but were not 100% sure until the swelling went down (3 days later!!!) and we could actually see the bite marks!
Such a trooper!
Ready for some meds.
Can you blame the bugs for nibbling on this face?!
After a few days, he was much better!
So, we're at a tball game and Derek decides to use his teeth to open his water bottle. His 2nd tooth was not very loose, but it sure was after he did that! (And, after a few tears and a very wobbly tooth, Derek got ready for his game). As he approaches the plate, he comes to the fence and hands Mommy his tooth, which had just fallen out! Batter up!!!
Getting ready for the tooth fairy!
The next morning.
Much more alert than the first time the fairy came!
Spring in S FL, looks more like Fall up north! The boys enjoy playing in the leaves!
The lower school at North Broward has an impressive Strings program -- Derek's 1st grade class performed what they learned throughout the year, at the Township Theater!
Patiently waiting for the performance to begin.
Taking Stage
Derek Violin Spring Concert
Pooped after his performance!
It's spring time and everything is growing wildly --- even the boys' hairs!

Blue Tongue and All!

Derek also had a piece entered in the school's art show!
And he's been working on programming at school, too!
This card was created by Derek and it even lights up!
The love these boys have found for one another on the baseball diamond is indescribable! They're friends both on the field and off! They enjoyed an afternoon at the pool -- such cute dudes!
At our temple, the boys enjoyed an Israel Independence Day Celebration!
