We decided to host Chanukah night #1 at our house!
Daddy and the boys peel the potatoes!
Mushing everything together!
Starting off the holiday by giving instead of receiving!
First up, Safta!
Next, Zaide!
Lastly, Grandma!
Derek made a holiday gift for Mommy and Daddy:
Personally crafted wrapping paper
Beautiful frame that "took me an hour!"
Card!
First gifts were a big success!
Already figuring out their new legos.
Overseeing his brothers' work.
Christmas Day and the Sorensens have arrived! We picked them up and headed over to Safta's place!
While there, the boys had a pillow fight with their cousins and that's when we discovered Derek has not one but two loose teeth! His first loose teeth --- 12/25/16. Daddy's heart is breaking --- his little boy is not so little anymore!
Bedtime is always more fun when there are extra people around to read bedtime stories to the boys (and when the Sorensens are in town and share the boys' rooms)! This time around there was a "D" room for Derek and David and a "J" room for Josh and Jacob.
Uncle Keith arrived and is already having fun with the boys!
Safta and Benji look on as David hits balls from the machine.
Benji and his "Racket Ship"
Having fun at the tennis court playground and playing tag with Lisa.
The boys were good about not waking up David and Jacob (or waiting until it was time to wake them up). The boys loved their morning snuggles with Jacob.
It's winter time in South Florida, so we're headed to the beach!
Benji wants to take his potty to the beach (he cried when Mommy wouldn't let him).
Last morning = Pancakes!
Flashback! What a difference a year makes!
The chocolate chip faces are definitely more creepy!
Last meal = Jaxson's!!!
How this kid ate all of his ice cream after eating a hot dog the size of his body and some of his brother's mac & cheese is beyond me!
We were thrilled to have our first guests stay with us in our new addition (and it just makes sense for it to be the Sorensens). In keeping with the Margolis tradition of having a bathroom guest book, we hope many more friends and family will frequent our home and leave their punny bathroom adventures for years to come)!
Last night of Chanukah AND New Year's Eve!
The boys having fun with ALL of the pillows in the house. Last adventure of 2016?
Wishing everybody a wonderful 2017!!!
Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy New Year! May 2017 be a great year and may we strive for patience, tolerance, love, and happiness.
