Passover 2015

Just before Passover, Mommy traveled to Dallas to celebrate Uncle Eddie's life.  He was taken from us too soon, but he will always live on through our good memories we have of him and the way he touched our lives.

Last Spring Break, when Mommy and her little boys traveled to Arizona, they got to spend some time with Uncle Eddie.  Derek was sad that he never got to say good-bye, but we told him he doesn't need to, because he is always with us in our hearts.

Here are a few "flashbacks" of our last visit together:

Uncle Eddie would ask Derek what flavor his thumb was today.

Family time at the art fair.

Sports Fanatics!  Austin and Pops!!

Love.

Teamwork!

Daddy stayed home with the boys and sent these photos to cheer her up:

Derek and Josh at the park.
Benji "working" in his office.

It was an honor to be able to celebrate Uncle Eddie's life all together.

Mommy is ready to head home!

Back just in time for Passover...Safta Mildred joined from DC and Bauby M and Zaide Shelly from Chicago!

Benji and Safta.

First night Seder at the Barbags:

Derek (4.5 years old)

Joshua (2.5 years old)

Zaide Mike (you guess how old!)

Benjamin (0.5 years old)

Mommy walked in to get Benji a burp cloth and look who was in his room "hanging out" in the crib!

Marco and Steph came to visit with baby Isabelle!

Benji was happy to see them!

The Gonzalez family (+ Benji)
Love at first sight?

Second night at the Kurcbarts:

Benji dazzles the Great Grandmas.

Aunt Susie said it was casual, so Benji wore his tie, but left his pants at home.

Josh tries to fill Aunt Susie's shoes -- but she's just one of a kind!
End of Passover trip to Hollywood --

Zaidy Shelly feeds Benji.

Happy to eat some leavened bread!
