Aaron and Eric, "the Godfathers," married in Washington DC and the boys' were in attendance at their first wedding! The weekend was full of fun festivities and good times with family and friends!
On our way to DC.
Josh checks out Safta's place.
Care for a spot of tea, Safta?
After a quick lunch with Safta, we headed over to A & E's to meet and greet!
The boys...cool as cucumbers before their big day.
Special thanks to the Sorensens for putting us up for the weekend and babysitting and allowing Mommy and Daddy to truly help Aaron and Eric celebrate!
The cuddle bugs.
Saturday Morning we woke up and headed to the Marshall's. We had so much fun with all of the cousins (and Aunt Sandy and Uncle Sam), that we didn't even take any pictures!!! Oh well...next time!
We headed back to rest up for the big night!
The occasion was picnic formal and the Barbags rocked it (if we do say so ourselves)!
Ready to party!
This is the same linen suit Uncle Ari wore to a wedding when he was small (thanks Bubby Linda for being such a hoarder).
The boys share the view of Dupont Circle from the top of the Dupont Circle Hotel!
Josh must've known not to ruin his white linen suit because this was the first time he truly did not crawl and walked everywhere!
Having fun!
Mommy was honored to have the opportunity to toast these two dear friends! We love you both SO much and can hardly describe how happy we are for you two!!!
The picnic basket to go along with the evening's attire theme of picnic formal.
Personalized martini glasses to help toast the sweetest of men.
The taste! To a lifetime of happiness, love, and great memories!!!
Great fun, all night long!
The godfathers showed Derek off all night long.
Josh didn't want to leave!
The cake was deeeeeeeeelicious!
Derek shared with Josh, too!
The guys show off their wardrobe change (matching seersucker suits for the ceremony and fun combo for the rest of the eve)!
Break dancing.
The boys boogie to the music.
The night was SO fun. After the boys headed back with Lisa and Morten, Mommy and Daddy continued to celebrate and enjoy a karaoke bar, too! They definitely miss being so close to A & E!
We definitely partied til we plopped.
The next morning the Sorensen's hosted a family brunch:
Jayden and Josh hit it off!
It was a quick trip, but a fun one. Before we knew it, we were headed back to S FL.
